My site would contain a <title> tag like this:

What we keep here is based on the keyword we figured out above. It should contain our main key word phrase, “Buy Bu at least once. It shouldn’t contain more than 60 characters. In fact, if you can make it seven words or less (remove words like “and” and “for”, which the search engines ignore).

The <title> tag must contain the main keyword or anchor Text for which you are optimizing that page. Google in particular places heavy importance on what is in your page’s <title> tag. Same with Yahoo and now Bing also do the same.

Meta Keyword

The <Meta> keyword tag will contain our main keyword phrase for the specific page we are on:<meta name=”keywords” content=”buy backlink, buy one way backlinks, high page rank 7, PageRank 6 link, link building services, backlink builder, link buildings” />

· You should not make these more than 160 characters.

· You should not use the same Keyword more than twice in it.

· You should change and vary the capitalization. You should not use all capital letters unless the is an acronym, like “SEO“, which is short form of  Search Engine Optimization.

You should not use words that do not come up in the body text on the page. For better use do not have a keywords Meta tag than that is filled with keywords which don’t comes up on your pages; it can count against you.

Note: Don’t use too many keywords tag. It is not regarded nowadays due to abuse by people stuffing keywords that didn’t belong into it. You can almost skip it entirely.

Meta Description:

The <Meta> description tag is the information about the page. It should contain our keyword in between description phrases for the page we are working on:

This should describe the page, not the whole website. You should not make the description more than about 160 characters long. Make it user friendly and make sure it contains your main key word phrases!

You should not repeat individual keywords more than two times in any one meta tag because that can get a site banned in a search engines for something called “spamdexing” , which is “spamming” index of a search engine. It’s also known as “keyword stuffing”; you should not do it!

Very important factor in today’s world: - Most of the users have skype installed in their systems; any phone number on the browser will become clickable which will give a direct skype-out call. So if your number appears in the Meta description many of your customers might call you directly instead of going through your site.

Keyword density

Keywords as a percentage of indexable text words.

Keyword density is viewed differently by different search engines. Different search engines may use different stop techniques for different worlds which may result in a word might be counted by one engine and not in the consideration of other search engine.

Apart from the stop keyword, some search engines also do not use Meta Tags and other does. This can change total number of words and it can reduce total words turns out to be more Keyword density. The most basic example is:

A search engine using only <body> text.

Some search engines use <body> text, ALT tags, META tags, comment tags, and a handful of other tags into consideration.

For example, if a keyword is used 10 times in page with 200 indexable text words, the page has a keyword density of 5%. Generally, keyword density should be high enough that a keyword is recognized as a main topic. At the same time, keyword density should not be too high as some search engines can stop your site in ranking.

In Ideal scenario, the keyword density should be 2-3%. But with my experience, I use it 1 to 2 %.

Page URL Optimization

The naming convention of the webpage URL is significant for search engine optimization. Search engines realize that the path of a webpage URL is a good Sign of the theme for a particular page.

Important Note: If you have existing rankings that are generating traffic we do not recommend you change the URL for these pages. When you change a webpage URL you are essentially starting over on the ground floor when it comes to gaining a search engine’s trust.

However, if you do change the URL, you can setup a 301 redirect so that your old URL just redirects to the new one.

Logic is simple because search engine stores a cache of your content after a certain period of time and it gets updated frequently as you make the changes in your web page. They store everything in terms of words and when it becomes the matter of Ranking, they compare words by words. So, an image without its alt text or image title is something blank to search engines.

Image Optimization Elements:

 

Alt text: ALT text or Alternate Text is the text to describe your image when your mouse moves over an image on your web page. The text should be meaningful but short. You can use your relevant keywords as ALT text. If your browser can’t display the image for some reason, the alt text is used in place of that particular image.

 

File name: always use meaningful file name for your images, use names like “apple-iphone-cover.jpg” instead of meaningless “DSC24045.jpg”. Keep image file name same or similar to the ALT text.

 

Image Title: always use the title tag in images which will show the title as tool tip when a user moves his mouse over the image. Example of an image with title tag: [img src=”http://imagelocation.jpg” alt=”Image description” title=”Title of the Image”]

 

Image Linking: Whenever you want to link to your image, use the image keywords in your link text. Example: use “view an Apple iPhone”, instead of “Click here to view” as the anchor text.
